We take great care of the future laying hens that arrive at Granja Bailón. We receive them at one day old at a rearing unit in La Almunia de Doña Godina, which has four houses.

Over the following seventeen weeks, until they reach point of lay, we keep the pullets in optimum health and temperature conditions and feed them our own specific formulations. We also follow our own vaccination programme, supervised by the farm vet.

Throughout the process we carry out salmonella testing on the birds, the feed and the farm environment.
